The Safeway® Gate has been rated number one for use at the top of a stairway, for a second time, by a leading independent consumer organization. Perfect for top-of-stairs applications, the Safeway's easy-to-adjust hardware has an exclusive directional feature that prevents the gate from swinging out over the staircase. This gate offers the extra security of being permanently mounted, and the hardware is quick and easy to install. The G20 is flexible enough to install at the top or bottom of stairs, or in doorways. The hardware also allows the gate to be quickly released from its mountings as desired. Adding to its versatility, the hinges can be mounted on most railings and angled walls. The Safeway® is constructed of strong tubular steel. The 30½" height and non-toxic coating are great for children or pets. The basic gate fits openings 24¾" - 43½". Available in White, Black. One optional extension for openings 43 ½" to 66". No more than one extension kit per gate. |
