Michele Spahr, Founder & President

Michele Spahr is founder and President of Safe Start Baby, Inc. She has authored several articles on topics of child safety and speaks frequently before parenting and child advocacy groups.

A mother of three and recent cancer survivor, Michele founded Safe Start Baby out of her concern for the large number of accidental injuries and deaths to babies and young children in the home.

According to Spahr, “Accidents such as falls, poisonings, drownings, and burns can happen in even the most loving and stable home. We help parents make their homes safer for babies and toddlers by taking steps to reduce or eliminate potential hazards in the home.”

Her mission is to educate, inform, and serve families and caregivers in their quest to raise children in a safe home environment.
